Supply Chain Mgmt Analyst

Overview

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements. Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan. Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability. Ensures on-time delivery. Documents and resolves order delinquencies.

Reports schedule adherence issues. Develops and controls inventory plans. Optimizes inventory levels. Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories. Initiates audits. Develops and creates schedules for products and services. Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. Works under general direction.

Day To Day

In this role you will be supporting Materials & Standards. You will play a key role in ensuring that our supply chain organization is efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall goals of the organization.

• Support Materials & Standards operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Apply SCM methodologies to coordinate activities across the global supply chain.
• Analyze material requirements and verify Bills of Material and schedules for production planning.
• Release orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability; monitor and report schedule adherence.
• Develop, control, and optimize inventory plans and levels; disposition excess inventories and conduct audits as needed.
• Develop and create schedules for products and services; contribute to estimates and schedules for new proposals.
• Identify process improvements and establish best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.

• 5+ years of experience in Materials and Standards.
• Boeing experience is a huge plus.

Pay Rate Range: 29 - 34 USD hourly
