Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3 or Level 4) – Secondary Structures and AM&S – Everett, Washington.
As an Operations Procurement Agent at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, you will manage supplier relationships and project manage all aspects of performance, blending strategic thinking with execution. The role requires excellent communication, a strong desire to learn and collaborate, and a passion for Supply Chain. Some domestic and/or international travel will be required.
Position Responsibilities- Develop and execute integrated organizational risk mitigation plans and schedules, and guide the development of business strategies, goals and objectives.
- Participate in on‑site supplier assessments (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statements and support Boeing procurement strategy.
- Monitor suppliers’ performance‑to‑plan and assess supplier resource plans.
- Proactively communicate with senior leadership, peers, suppliers and customers; deliver presentations and conduct leadership meetings.
- Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing processes.
- Work with urgency and make decisions weighing business goals.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain processes.
- 5+ years of experience deploying and administering policies, procedures, and processes.
- 5+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external) at all levels.
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10%).
- 7+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
- 7+ years of experience managing supplier quality and delivery performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership for awareness and negotiation.
Typically 7 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. An advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master) is preferred but not required.
Pay & BenefitsCompetitive base pay and variable compensation. Pay ranges:
Level 3: $94,900 – $128,200;
Level 4: $118,000 – $160,000.
