Field Service Technician II; 2nd Shift

Field Service Technician II (2nd Shift) ($1,500.00 Hiring Bonus)

Safran Seats is seeking a Field Service Technician II to work in Everett, Washington. This permanent full‑time role provides on‑site support to Air Framer/airline customers during aircraft builds, troubleshooting and repairing interior components, and ensuring high quality workmanship.

As a member of Safran Seats, you contribute to providing over one million seats to airlines worldwide, ensuring superior quality, comfort, and innovation. Your responsibilities include:

• Rework and stamp pickups self‑identified and/or written by Air Framer and/or customer during the build of the aircraft.
• Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronic components and other damaged parts, adjusting misaligned panels/trim pieces.
• Provide assistance to the Air Framer seat installation team and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Sustain a high quality level of workmanship at all times.
• Respond promptly to all communication (telephone, etc.) with Air Framer personnel and customers.
• Maintain a good rapport with Air Framer personnel and customers.
• Follow Safran/Air Framer safety guidelines or processes established by the organization.
• Submit accurate part order requests and understand the POA/SOA process at Air Framer/Safran.
• Drive company van and other technicians safely around Air Framer/Safran facilities.
• Attend Safran daily stand‑up/tie‑in meetings.
• Adhere to Air Framer/Safran training requirements related to flight line, safety, and other courses throughout the year.
• Coordinate verbally with QA, engineers, lead technicians and other key Air Framer/Safran personnel on a daily basis.

  Qualification:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related technical field preferred.
• B.
  
  Work Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of field service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs.
• C. Professional
  
  Skills:
  
  Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools; basic working knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings and other technical documents; basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office; proficient using smartphones/tablets for email, photos and other apps; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.

  Ability to work efficiently under stressful situations; follow instructions and complete jobs in a timely manner; excellent customer‑service and communication skills (verbal and written); availability for various hours, after‑hours, weekends and to travel; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; willingness to travel to other Air Framer facilities and international Safran sites; ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment;

• Travel: International and/or domestic travel required; approximately 2–4 weeks per year.
