About the Role
Sine Engineering is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Contracts Manager to support our growing portfolio of government and commercial programs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting cross‑functional teams to enable successful program execution.
This position plays a key role in maintaining strong relationships with government customers and ensuring that all contractual obligations align with Sine Engineering’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, negotiate, execute, and track a wide range of agreements, with a focus on minimizing risk, ensuring compliance, and streamlining processes
Review contract documents for clarity, consistency, and compliance; manage the full contract lifecycle and track obligations
Proactively prevent disputes by ensuring contract terms align with business goals and operational realities
Ensure compliance with complex regulations, including FAR and DFARS, throughout contract negotiation, performance, and closeout
Serve as a primary liaison between the company and government contracting officers
Apply strong legal, financial, and risk‑management judgment in contract‑related decisions
Advise internal stakeholders on compliant proposals, pricing strategies, and alignment with solicitation requirements
Execute NDAs, contract modifications, and manage all terms and conditions
Core Responsibilities (Small Business Focus)
Compliance and Risk Mitigation:
Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and agency‑specific regulations; assess and mitigate legal and business risksClarity and Compliance:
Ensure contract terms are clear, enforceable, and fully compliant with applicable regulationsLifecycle Management:
Manage contracts from initial solicitation review and proposal development through negotiation, award, administration, modification, and final closeoutCollaboration:
Partner closely with Project and Delivery teams to align contracts with project plans, budgets, and execution requirementsPerformance Monitoring:
Track milestones, deliverables, and contractual communications with customers and partners
Requirements
4–5 years of contract management experience in the federal contracting space
Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification
