Role DescriptionWe’re seeking a Service Plumbing Operations Manager who is a proactive, charismatic communicator with a talent for reading people and situations effectively. You are outgoing, empathetic, and intuitive. You can persuade others to embrace change and resolve conflict by turning tense situations into collaborative ones.

Qualifications Plumbing / Home Service Background- Experience in residential or light commercial service
- Experience in supervisory or management role
- Understanding of warranty and recall management (Worry Free Warranty)
- Proven track record of managing field service teams (technicians, apprentices)
- Experience with scheduling, dispatch, and capacity balancing
- Strong grasp of Service Titan or equivalent FSM software (flat-rate pricing, call booking, KPI dashboards)
- Read and manage P&L statements; track gross margin, net margin, and ROI
- Monitor KPIs: revenue per truck/day, average ticket, conversion rate, memberships, warranty callbacks
- Implement CSR/dispatcher best practices; manage customer conflict resolution and reputation (Google, Yelp, LSAs, Nextdoor)
- Enforce SOPs for service calls, installs, job costing, and safety
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance, fleet maintenance, and licensing requirements
- Recruit, onboard, and develop plumbers, apprentices, and CSRs
- Build incentive plans (spiffs, commissions, KPI-based bonuses)
- Reduce turnover through culture and career paths
- Communicate clearly with staff, vendors, and customers
- Translate executive strategy into daily team execution
- Adaptable to growth—able to scale systems
- Hands-on leadership style (ride-alongs, shadowing, coaching on the fly)
- Customer-first mindset, balancing service excellence with profitability
