Position SummaryAssistant Manager
As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Profit Center Manager in applying Sunbelt policies, focusing on maximizing the profitability of the Profit Center and ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities- In charge of the Profit Center in the absence of the Profit Center Manager.
- Assess daily the need for purchasing equipment through feedback from salesmen, CSRs, customer feedback, vendor representatives and marketing department product managers.
- Assess and modify weekly sales plans and ensure their execution.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory DOT and safety requirements.
- Perform dispatching duties (if needed).
- Inspect the Profit Center yard daily.
- Ensure OSRs and CSRs are aware of slow‑moving equipment.
- Ensure the Shop Foreman knows about all equipment not available for rent.
- Present the Profit Center yard, facility and staff in a professional manner.
- Prepare various reports, including daily contract reports, AP on hold/accrual reports and asset disposal reports.
- Ensure the team meets goals and complies with company standards through daily management.
- Perform other duties assigned by the PCM.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 1–2 years of rental industry experience or a Business Management degree.
Physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $74,509.
