Job Overview

At Bank of America, the role supports a cluster of financial centers in designated markets, acting as the backup financial center leader during the manager’s absence. The owner drives operational excellence, manages client traffic and business results, and fosters a client‑centric and risk‑aware culture. The role is part of an in‑office culture with office‑based attendance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Operate as a backup financial center leader within a market.
  • Manage client traffic, engaging and appropriately routing clients, and fostering client retention.

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of leadership experience demonstrated through coaching, training and/or motivating a work team.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve shared goals.
  • Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems independently or elevate as needed.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience in leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability.
  • Record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, engaging others in dialogue and building deep relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills: managing multiple responsibilities, prioritizing and delegating while delivering results.
  • Strong communication skills across verbal, non‑verbal, written and presentation, with active listening.
  • Proficiency in computer and professional programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market.
Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ years of management experience, including hiring, coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Experience in consumer banking/financial services, mortgage, retail and/or hospitality.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Bilingual (fluent verbal and written).

Pay

Annual salary: $72,000 – $90,300. Offer determined based on experience, education and skill set. Predictable pay, no incentive eligibility.
