Position Overview

Senior Quality Manager – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA).

Location:

Everett, Washington. Shift: 2nd Shift. Department: 777 Quality Wings.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of employees and first‑level managers across multiple Quality Management Job Families, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans, policies, and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.
  • Formulate and execute organizational and technical strategies that foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to excel in their roles and contribute to a culture of quality.
  • Acquire and manage resources effectively, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and enhance overall performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to ensure collaborative success.
  • Inspire, develop, and motivate employees and first‑level managers, fostering a high‑performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing organization.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with executives, managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint).
  • 3+ years of experience leading, motivating, and developing others.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement.
  • Solid business acumen with a track record of developing and executing successful strategies.
  • Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process.
  • Experience with the BPS system.
  • Experience completing process‑oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.
  • Self‑starter who creates and implements job‑related solutions and procedures.
  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.
  • Conflict of Interest:
    Candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Summary pay range (Level L): $154,700 – $209,300.
  • Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
  • Eligible employees can enroll in benefit programs, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time‑off programs.
  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
