Supply Chain In‑Service Fleet Support Manager
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain In‑Service Fleet Support Manager to join our In‑Service Supply Chain – 777 Fleet Support team in Everett, Washington;
Seal Beach, California; or Seattle, Washington. The role leads supply chain activities and keeps business operations running efficiently by supporting enterprise‑level initiatives and implementing high‑visibility supply‑chain focused projects, while developing and executing integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives.
- Lead a supply‑chain team supporting the Fleet Chief Office and in‑service airline customers.
- Integrate and collaborate with stakeholders, including Program, Customer Support, Design Engineering, Production Supply Chain, Value Stream Integration, Warranty, and Boeing Global Services (BGS).
- Use supply‑chain experience to remove roadblocks, drive resolution, and increase stakeholder trust and satisfaction.
- Manage direct engagement with operators to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, airplane reliability, and Maintenance Lifecycle Operating Cost (MLOC) through part availability.
- Oversee the management and resolution of top fleet issues for the 777 program and engage in complex technical issues.
- Execute strategies to increase velocity and reduce financial impact to Boeing and the operator.
- Oversee activities related to managing supplier issues from root‑cause identification to corrective action and retrofit programs.
- Support Regional VPs and program leaders using effective communication and project‑management best practices.
- Develop executive‑level supply‑chain presentation materials for Program meetings, Fleet Team Conferences, Airline Executive Review Meetings (ERM), and Technical Review Meetings (TRM).
- 5+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain, negotiations, industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- 3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high‑stakes discussions.
- Domestic and international travel as needed (up to 20%).
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership".
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree.
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Position is 100% onsite and requires a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62; this includes U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees. The role is open to U.S. Persons who meet the export‑control compliance requirements.

Total Rewards- Pay for this Level K position ranges from $122,400 to $165,600 annually.

- Seal Beach, CA – $122,400 – $165,600
