Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Overview

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager – Everett, WA. The EHS Manager ensures the company complies with health and safety laws and works with the Director of Operations, Operations Manager, HR Team, and project teams to support occupational health and safety.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to establish and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Understand and apply legal health and safety guidelines.
• Produce reports and develop relevant safety policies and guidelines.
• Utilize data analysis and risk assessment to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good practices.
• Develop and maintain project cost/change controls, budgets, and accounting records.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions for accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Analyze incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies to institute changes that improve safety.
• Complete and/or generate spreadsheet reports, Word documents, edit PDF documents, and manage e-mail communication.
• Perform routine safety inspections and self-audits, including overseeing audits for additional facilities.
• Facilitate workplace health and safety initiatives as needed.
