Senior Manager – Facilities Management

Everett, WA (support Pacific Northwest sites)

Boeing’s Northwest Facilities Management organization is seeking a dynamic, agile, and results‑oriented Senior Manager to lead our Facilities Managed Services and the Small Works Program team. The selected Manager will be responsible for regional vended services performance, contract‑life‑cycle oversight, and delivery of simple projects, requiring frequent regional travel and schedule flexibility.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead the Facilities Managed Services program for Northwest sites, including vendor performance, SLAs, scorecards, continuous improvement for trades, mechanical, grounds, environmental services, and other contracted services.
  • Implement and maintain a supplier/contractor performance scoring and evaluation program, defining standardized scorecards and KPIs for major vendor categories.
  • Establish evaluation cadence (monthly operational scorecards, quarterly reviews, annual strategic evaluations) and generate composite performance scores.
  • Categorize suppliers by performance (e.g., Green/Yellow/Red or Tier 1/2/3) and apply risk‑based governance, escalation, and corrective action plans.
  • Integrate vendor scoring into contract‑life‑cycle decisions (renewals, scope changes, incentive/penalty application, sourcing recommendations).
  • Lead supplier development activities (remediation plans, targeted coaching, joint Kaizen events, replacement and re‑procurement when appropriate).
  • Maintain an auditable record of evaluations, scorecards, corrective actions, and outcomes for compliance and executive reporting.
  • Manage the Small Works Program: intake, prioritization, scoping, scheduling, procurement, and delivery of minor/simple projects across NW sites, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget execution.
  • Supervise and develop a regional team of project coordinators and contract‑management analysts; set KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics (SLA compliance, on‑time delivery, first‑time fix rate, etc.) and drive data‑informed improvements.
  • Manage regional budgets for managed services and simple work, including forecasting, cost control, and identification of cost‑savings opportunities.
  • Coordinate with site leadership, operations, EHS, procurement, and engineering to align scope, approvals, and safe execution of work.
  • Champion safety, regulatory, and quality standards for all contracted work and simple projects; lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve standard processes, templates, and governance for simple work intake, permitting, procurement, and closeout.
  • Provide regular reporting and executive‑level updates on vendor performance, project status, budget, risk, and major issues.
  • Support emergency response and after‑hours vendor coordination for critical facility incidents.
  • Travel up to 25% domestically.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience managing vendors, contracts, and/or supply‑chain processes or systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, facilities management, maintenance, manufacturing, construction projects, and/or project management.
  • Experience developing and integrating programs, plans, strategies, processes, and KPIs to track progress and achieve business goals.
  • Experience as a lead, supervisor, or manager.
  • Experience with Agile or LEAN methodologies.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing.
Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $156,400 - $211,600 (based on experience and qualifications).
