Mission descriptionThe Electrical Mechanic 1‑3 are safety‑sensitive positions that require strict adherence to product assembly, fabrication, equipment operation and safety procedures. They are responsible for assembling electrical components, routing wires, building cable harnesses and ensuring product quality and safety.
Electrical Mechanic 1- Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble products according to required specifications and procedures, including electrical components and wire build‑up.
- Maintain product quality and ensure tool accountability and maintenance within the shop area.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Execute higher‑complexity work within the wire shop and mentor entry‑level employees as a peer mentor.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications and retrofit adjustments to perform electrical modification and repair.
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and conformance to quality requirements.
- Complete associated paperwork and job orders; use an ERP system such as Syteline or equivalent.
- Perform complex connector terminations, continuity testing, wire routing, labeling, and tying of harnesses in accordance ausência de
- Work in a team environment, participate in continuous improvement activities and provide daily status updates.
- Execute tasks with minimal guidance, using a variety of tools to assemble products according to specifications and procedures.
- Supervise and assist lower‑level mechanics, ensuring quality, tool accountability and safety of the work area.
- Provide daily status updates and complete assigned duties as directed by the senior mechanic.
- Age ≥ 18, high‑school diploma or GED.
- Read process specifications and documents such as D6‑54446.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Age ≥ 18, high‑school diploma or GED.
- Preferably 3‑5 years of experience in an aerospace electrical manufacturing environment.
- FAA A&P certificate desirable but not required.
- Experience working with Boeing & Airbus wire specification.
- Ability to read process specifications and documents such as D6‑54446.
- Age ≥ 18, unloaded and entry‑level responsibilities.
- Preferably 7‑year experience in an aerospace electrical manufacturing environment.

- Understand quality and safety requirements and follow written procedures.
