Quality Assurance Inspector - Aerospace Machining

• Dayshift:
  Monday -- Thursday, 5:00 a.m.
  
  -- 3:30 p.m. or
• Night
  
  Shift: Monday -- Thursday, 3:00 p.m.
  
  -- 1:00 a.m.
• Occasional overtime available

• $30--$38/hr DOE
• Shift differential for night shift work + overtime pay

• Perform detailed first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Use a wide range of precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
• Operate or interpret data from CMMs, optical comparators, and other advanced equipment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (strong GD&T knowledge required)
• Document inspection results in accordance with AS9100 & ISO 9001 quality standards
• Collaborate with machinists and programmers to maintain quality and solve issues
• Perform calibrations of tools is a plus

• 3+ years of inspection experience in a precision machining environment
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methods
• Familiarity with aerospace, medical, or defense industry standards
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality management system
• Great communication skills and a high attention to detail
