Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

We’re hiring a Material Handler II – Receiving & Inventory to support day‑to‑day warehouse and production operations by helping materials move smoothly through our facility. In this role, you’ll receive, organize, and transport materials so teams have what they need to stay productive and on schedule.

• $25.00 to $29.00 an hour (depending on level of experience)

• Safely move, load, and unload materials within warehouse and production areas
• Receive incoming shipments, including raw materials, parts, and finished goods
• Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or defects and document issues
• Verify packing lists, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
• Receive and transact all incoming orders in the purchasing/PO system
• Organize and store materials so items are properly labeled and easily accessible
• Transport raw materials to production and staging areas as needed
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety requirements
• Maintain daily forklift and pallet jack inspection logs
• Support Lean Manufacturing processes, including Kanban walks, bin and card pickup, and material returns
• Attend daily morning and afternoon Gemba walks
• Develop working knowledge of MRP systems and production material triggers
• Record and report received and issued materials in inventory systems
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
• Handle rigging and transportation of materials between buildings or work areas
• Provide guidance and direction to team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse or materials environment
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized throughout the workday
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory or purchasing systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Forklift experience or certification (training available if needed)
• Experience receiving, organizing, or distributing materials
• Familiarity with inventory management, cycle counts, or stock control
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, MRP, or similar systems
• Experience supporting or guiding other team members
