Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join our Fulfillment team in Everett, WA
. We have multiple shifts: 1st shift Monday through Friday 5 am to 1:30 pm; 2nd shift Monday through Friday 1:30 pm to 10 pm. Must be willing and able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, and may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
- Manage and integrate employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals.
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manage, develop and motivate employees.
- Possess a mindset of safety and quality; influence the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross‑functional or cross‑business unit teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
- Motivated self‑starter who can work independently and has demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders such as sales, success, product management, and senior leaders.
- Must be willing and able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, and may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree.
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- 3+ years leading critical projects.
- 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Supplier Management, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
- 5+ years of experience with materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with safety and quality processes.
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification.
- Demonstrated ability to create shared vision and translate into strategy implementation.
- Demonstrated capacity to proactively and quickly make sense of complex issues; respond effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicate complicated information simply.
- Experience expediting products through a production system to meet emergent customer demand.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range (Level K) $121,500 – $141,075.
