Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join our Fulfillment team in Everett, WA
. We have multiple shifts: 1st shift Monday through Friday 5 am to 1:30 pm; 2nd shift Monday through Friday 1:30 pm to 10 pm. Must be willing and able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, and may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

• Manage and integrate employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals.
• Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manage, develop and motivate employees.
• Possess a mindset of safety and quality; influence the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors.

• 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross‑functional or cross‑business unit teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Motivated self‑starter who can work independently and has demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders such as sales, success, product management, and senior leaders.
• Must be willing and able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, and may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree.
• 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• 3+ years leading critical projects.
• 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Supplier Management, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
• 5+ years of experience with materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with safety and quality processes.
• Aerospace or manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification.
• Demonstrated ability to create shared vision and translate into strategy implementation.
• Demonstrated capacity to proactively and quickly make sense of complex issues; respond effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicate complicated information simply.
• Experience expediting products through a production system to meet emergent customer demand.

The specific programs and options available may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range (Level K) $121,500 – $141,075.
