Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Production Lead to support a well‑established manufacturing facility in the Everett area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and enjoys coaching teams while keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
Starting pay is $25 - $32 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all shift production activities to ensure safety, quality, and output goals are consistently met
- Lead, coach, and develop production associates and machine operators
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and ensure effective use of labor, equipment, and materials
- Troubleshoot production, material flow, and basic equipment issues; elevate complex concerns as needed
- Ensure proper machine setup and startup procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate shift reports, production records, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with management and cross‑functional teams
- Enforce safety policies, quality standards, and clean work practices throughout the shift
- Rotating
Schedule:
Sunday–Saturday - Shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Pattern includes rotating days and nights (3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off, etc.)
- 5+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- 5+ years of experience in extrusion or plastic injection molding (required)
- Strong knowledge of production processes, material behavior, and manufacturing equipment
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in high‑volume environments
- Solid troubleshooting skills related to production flow, materials, and equipment
- Comfortable using hand tools, measuring gauges, and production/ERP computer systems
- Working knowledge of safety programs, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to stand and move throughout the production floor for 12‑hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Dependable, safety‑focused, and able to make sound decisions under pressure
You must have six months of recent work experience and be able to provide two work references we can contact to be eligible to work through our office.
