.

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob Summary: SEACORP is hiring Field Service Technicians at various levels to support the U.S. Navy in the development, installation, testing and troubleshooting of Navigation and Network systems on U.S. Navy ships. Interface with U.S. Navy personnel, stakeholders, as well as equipment manufacturers.

Responsibilities Include:
- Perform layout and integration of developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment and systems.
- Provide system installation, testing and troubleshooting support.
- Perform software and hardware integration testing.
- Develop and execute test procedures.
- Strong focus on remote support/troubleshooting as well as on-site support for Navy ships.
- Interface with U.S. Navy engineers, OEMs, and vendors to prepare equipment for installation, testing and troubleshooting.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned or required as business needs dictate.
- Conduct dockside and at-sea testing.
- Operate, monitor, and interpret navigation systems data.
- Diagnose and repair system faults and failures.
- Maintain test logs and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Education: High School diploma or GED or Technical training or Navy Technical School.
Experience:
- Field Service Technician I - 0-1 years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- Field Service Technician II - 1+ years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- Field Service Technician III - 3+ years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- Field Service Technician IV - 5+ years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
Location: Everette, WA
Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
Clearance: Secret
Work Environment & Physical DemandsThis position operates in standard Office, Assembly Laboratory, and Aboard Vessel/Shipyard environments. The work involves sitting, standing, and extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard, and navigating between points within the same or between buildings. In shipyards and aboard vessels, there is significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools, with lifting up to 40 lbs or more.
Work may occur in variable environmental conditions with seasonal temperature changes. There is a possibility of working in confined spaces. Dust, noise, and activity associated with materials handling and fabrication may be present. Personal Protective Equipment such as safety shoes and hard hat is required; hearing protection and safety glasses are recommended.
