Operations Manager, Quality Engineering, Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Everett, WA (Hybrid)
Primary Responsibilities- Provide daily direction and scheduling for Technicians.
- Work with the team in achieving daily throughput goals.
- Support business objectives for OTD improvement and past‑due backlog reduction by brainstorming and implementing sustainable countermeasures for throughput misses.
- Communicate and coordinate efficiently with the team and the supervisor on issues and resolutions, lead DM discussion and maintain the DM/VM board for the assigned area.
- Work on problems of unusual complexity under minimal supervision.
- Recommend best practices and procedures to enable improvements to productivity.
- Proficiency in calibration and repair processes and procedures.
- Proficient in highly complex processes which are non‑routine, non‑repetitive, multiple process with limited documentation, difficult rework, etc., of a particular line or product.
- Collect, analyze, and report data from service processes.
- Provide training to less experienced personnel.
- Use FBS processes daily to promote continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and ensure compliance with the Fluke QMS, applicable ISO and similar standards.
- Preferred Technical Associate’s degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
- Required minimum of 1‑2 years related experience working calibration, troubleshooting, and repair, with demonstrated levels of increased productivity, competence, and efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- A wide and comprehensive understanding of service center practices, processes, techniques, policies and procedures, and their interface with other departments and systems.
- Experience working with a supervisor to identify issues, resource needs and improvement opportunities. Offer suggestions for resolution/inprovements.
- Experience in participating and leading in Continuous Improvement and problem solving.
- Ability to perform independent project work requiring analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Previous Team Lead experience a plus, preferably in a high‑volume/high product mix environment.
- Requires working within standard time constraints. Position may require movement of objects up to 40 lbs.
- All external hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
- Required to work overtime as needed.
Bonus:
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range: 34.00 – 56.78 hourly (local currency).
