Manufacturing Manager - The Boeing Company
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) for the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center team in Everett, Washington. This position is for the 2nd Shift.
Position Responsibilities- Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures.
- Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Coach, develop and motivate employees.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
- 1+ year of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership".
- 3+ years managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data.
- 3+ years using Boeing Production System (BPS).
- Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles.
- Candidates must complete the Boeing First‑Line Leader Assessment as part of the selection process; failure to complete removes the candidate from consideration.
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Subject to drug testing per Boeing Drug‑Free Workplace policies.
- Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, and other benefits. Pay range: $126,000 - $154,000.
- Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.
- Not a safety‑sensitive position.
- Security clearance is not required.
