Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled Fitter to work for our manufacturing company in Washington. As a Fitter you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components according to blueprints and specifications. Your role will involve using hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and welding machines to ensure precise fit and alignment of parts.

• Read blueprints, technical drawings, or job orders to determine specifications for assembly.
• Measure components using calipers, micrometers, or rulers.
• Cut, shape, fit, or join metal components using hand or power tools.
• Weld or solder parts together as needed.
• Align components properly before assembling them.
• Test assembled products for functionality or quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot issues with assembly or component failures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and welding machines.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

• Full‑time position with a salary of $1700 per month.
