Manufacturing Operations Functional Test Analyst – Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst

The Boeing Company, Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst – Assembly Advisement Workplace Coach for Functional Test (Level4) to support the 737 North Line Assembly Advisement team onsite at the Skill Enhancement Center in Everett, Washington. The role is primarily located in Everett; the first six months will be split between Renton and Everett for training purposes.
- Utilizes manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more areas such as mechanical, fluids/pneumatics, electrical integration, composites fabrication, composites assembly, and machine operations for coaching, performance improvement, and problem solving in support of the Boeing Production System.
- Analyzes and interprets performance and quality data to identify and mitigate the impact of changes on the production system (e.g., CMES, CORRS, PAS, EPES, TMC).
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices, analyzing and interpreting data for improvement opportunities.
- Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
- Analyzes processes and supports Boeing Production System problem solving, developing and documenting innovative solutions in support of area Q.C.D.S.M. goals.
- Assists Manufacturing & Quality managers and team leads with Structured on the Job Training (SOJT) plans.
- Supports advanced skills training and coaching solutions to improve employee performance.
- Provides workplace coaching as a subject‑matter expert for specific Manufacturing & Quality skills and disciplines.
- Delivers instruction, positive modeling, and opportunities for observation to help team members and employees.
- Encourages questions to ensure understanding.
- Provides timely, appropriate feedback on performance during coaching.
- Reinforces efforts and progress.
- Clarifies expected behaviors, knowledge, and proficiency levels by seeking and giving information and checking for understanding.
- Establishes positive interpersonal relationships, ensuring team members and employees feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussions.
- Exerts influence on the overall objectives and long‑range goals of the organization.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing working with assembly processes and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work the 2nd shift.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience working with detailed work instructions, or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
- Experience in a role that required analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Manufacturing experience in one or more of the following: mechanical, fluids/pneumatics, electrical integration, composites fabrication, composites assembly.
2nd shift; additional shift requirements may apply to support program objectives.

Compensation & BenefitsSummary Pay Range: $126,000 – $154,000.
Components of the Total Rewards package include competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time away from work. Programs and options may vary by location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements.
