Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Everett, WA within the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented machining professional who takes pride in producing precision components, working from technical drawings, and maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment to manufacture parts that meet customer specifications. Key Responsibilities- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, work instructions, and customer specifications.
- Select tooling, fixtures, machine settings, feeds, and speeds to support efficient and accurate production.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and CMM equipment when applicable.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot machining issues, and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Maintain production records, perform routine machine maintenance, and follow all safety and manufacturing procedures.
- Salary range: $58,000 to $72,800 per year.
