Electronic Assembly Technician

Salary Range: $27.00 To $34.00 Hourly
Primary Duties- Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic RF drivers, along with other electronic and mechanical sub-assemblies, in a clean room and ESD controlled environment.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that all products shipped meet the highest quality standards.
- Pay exceptional attention to detail.
- Work with the production, quality and engineering teams to update and maintain work instructions and data collection/reporting documents.
- Use the ERP system to track jobs and production time.
- Improve tooling, setup, and equipment related to the electronic assembly process.
- Contribute your expertise to continuous improvement and product improvement initiatives.
- Assist other departments or teams when needed, demonstrating a collaborative and team-oriented mindset to help achieve the overall success of the company.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Good hands‑on skills for building, troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies.
- 5+ years’ experience in a hands‑on electronics assembly and/or testing role for a high‑tech manufacturer with primary duties including soldering of SMT and Through‑Hole technology, electronic and mechanical assembly, and verification testing.
- Experience with measurement/test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, network analyzers, as well as hand tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meticulously follow defined processes.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a routine basis with the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
- Strong organization skills and computer skills.
- Willingness to listen and learn from experienced technicians.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- An associate’s degree in electronics technology, engineering technology, or similar fields of study
- IPC and J‑STD soldering certifications.
- In‑depth knowledge of electronics manufacturing practices.
- An understanding of and previous experience with RF power supplies.
- Previous job experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts
