Position: Assembly/Warehouse Associate 1

About the Role:

The Assembly/Warehouse Associate 1 plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse and assembly processes within the organization. This position is responsible for the accuracy, traceability, and quality of aerospace components as they move through marking, assembly, and kitting, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The associate will also manage inventory by receiving, storing, and organizing materials and finished goods in the warehouse. Collaboration with team members and supervisors is essential to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow continuity. Ultimately, this role supports the overall supply chain by ensuring timely and accurate assembly and inventory management, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Reliability and consistency, this is a process-driven environment
  • High attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings
  • Comfort working with small parts and precise processes
  • Basic computer skills (for work orders and system updates)
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience
  • Experience in aerospace, medical, or other regulated industries
Responsibilities:
  • Execute precision part marking using approved methods (inkjet, stamping, etching) to meet strict aerospace specs
  • Apply functional tape and coatings with zero defects (no wrinkles, bubbles, or contamination)
  • Build and verify kits from work orders and BOMs with full traceability
  • Pull and issue materials accurately using FIFO and spec verification
  • Perform first-part checks before production and maintain quality throughout runs
  • Label, package, and document parts to meet customer and compliance requirements
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations and properly handle tools/equipment
Skills:
  • Following drawings, specs, and procedures exactly
  • Stopping work when something doesn’t look right
  • Protecting part integrity from damage or contamination
  • Maintaining traceability across all materials and kits
  • Manufacturing floor, and test environments
  • May require occasional extended hours to support schedules, testing, or deadlines
  • Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
