Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Skills ERT Assessor to join their Instructor Resource Management team. In this role, you'll evaluate and assess hands-on and theoretical training for aerospace manufacturing professionals, ensuring participants meet industry and client quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aerospace manufacturing experience who enjoys mentoring, evaluating technical skills, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
KeyResponsibilities
- Administer and evaluate both hands-on and written technical assessments.
- Observe and assess trainees performing aerospace manufacturing tasks.
- Evaluate performance against established production, quality, and compliance standards.
- Accurately record grades, attendance, and evaluation results with 100% accuracy.
- Communicate updates, questions, and concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working with multiple clients simultaneously.
- Stay current on aerospace industry standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Qualified candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following:
- Aircraft Assembly
- Electrical Systems
- Bond & Ground Procedures
- Sealant Application
- Structural Drilling (Heavy and/or Light Structures)
- Fastener Installation
- Production Standards
- Power & Hand Tool Operation
- Precision Measuring Instruments
- Computer & Operating System Proficiency
- 1 3 years of training, leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
- Aerospace manufacturing or aircraft assembly experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new software applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This position requires flexibility in both schedule and work location.
- Tuesday Saturday
- Shift times vary based on client needs and may include:
- 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
- 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Occasional work at a nearby client location may be required.
We're looking for someone with a background in aerospace manufacturing who enjoys helping others succeed. Ideal candidates may have experience as an Aircraft Assembler, Aircraft Mechanic, Manufacturing Trainer, Production Lead, Technical Instructor, Quality Inspector, or Team Lead and are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical excellence.
