Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Production Lead to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the Everett area. This opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on leader with experience in plastic extrusion who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading teams while ensuring safe, efficient operations.
Location:
Everett, WA
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE
Shift: Full-Time | Rotating 12‑Hour Shifts
- Oversee all production activities during assigned shifts to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met
- Lead, coach, and develop production associates and machine operators
- Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency
- Troubleshoot production, material flow, and basic equipment issues; elevate complex concerns as needed
- Ensure proper machine setup and startup procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams
- Enforce safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Rotating 12‑Hour Shifts
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating schedule including weekends
- Typical pattern: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
- 5+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- 5+ years of experience in extrusion or plastic injection molding
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, material behavior, and production equipment
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a high-volume production environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and production or ERP software systems
- Knowledge of workplace safety programs, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stand and move throughout the production floor during 12‑hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
