Packaging Associate

Job Overview

Hexcel is seeking a Packaging Associate for its Burlington, WA facility. The position is full‑time, primarily on the 3rd shift, and no prior experience is required as training will be provided. • Interface with production employees to identify upcoming shipping requirements and communicate this information with the shipping and receiving lead.
• Coordinate and assist in packaging products to ensure proper labeling and counts as required.
• Visually inspect parts for damage and proper identification tags.
• Label all boxes with proper information for handling and delivery, and coordinate information about size/weight for shipping classification.
• Assemble boxes, crates and other items for shipments and load trucks for delivery.
• Support plant safety and quality objectives.

• Stable work history, preferably in manufacturing, and ability to work well with others in a team‑oriented environment.
• Must be able to work all shifts.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post‑offer drug test and physical examination required.
• Must meet physical demands: regular standing, manual dexterity, reach with hands and arms; frequent walking or talking or hearing; occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally; lift large awkward tools or boxes that weigh up to 35 lbs.; ability to operate power tools and machines with moving parts.
