Position Overview:

• Analyzing performance to daily schedules or orders
• Learning the production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment
• Reducing or eliminate safety and ergonomic issues
• Identifying quality defects trends through root cause analysis and providing recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects
• Providing recommendations on process improvements that reduce non-value added work which would improve cost and flow
• Building disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis to get back to the baseline plan while working to mitigate impacts to the downstream work statement and major milestones

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree with a client in business related curriculum such as:
  Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics.
• Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
• 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
• 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.
• Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
• Proficient in structured problem solving.

Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:

We are looking for candidates willing to lead initiatives around production stabilization and sharing Business Administration methodologies applied throughout the industry. Ideal candidates would have experience with capacity planning, resource utilization, process improvement identification through lean methodologies, supply chain planning and logistics, collaborating with multiple support organizations, and developing visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity.
