CNC Machine Operator

What You'll Do- Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and polish.
- Read shop drawings, blueprints, and production orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Set up machine tooling and enter the correct machine settings.
- Load and unload stone slabs safely using lifting equipment and team assistance.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to verify dimensions.
- Work closely with fabricators, supervisors, and production team members to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with basic CNC program editing when required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Comfortable using measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Basic understanding of CNC controls and machine operation.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience in stone fabrication, counter top manufacturing, or similar industries.
- CNC experience with stone, wood, or metal materials.
- Knowledge of basic CNC programming or G-code editing.
- Manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operating experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, PA.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
