Aerospace Manufacturing Technician

Shift: 3pm - 12:30am M-Th and 2pm-10:30pm every other Friday

Pay: $23 - $25/hr

The Manufacturing Technician performs aerospace manufacturing and assembly tasks, including conformal coating, masking, painting, mechanical and electrical assembly, and hand soldering. You follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and fast-paced work environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform aerospace manufacturing and assembly tasks such as conformal coating, masking, painting, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and hand soldering.
  • Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to complete tasks accurately and consistently.
  • Use hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment safely and effectively to assemble, coat, paint, and finish components.
  • Carry out detailed masking and coating or painting work, including color matching, industrial painting, printing, lamination, and coating operations as required.
  • Operate and support processes involving printing machines, spray guns, and related coating or finishing equipment.
  • Apply basic soldering techniques to assemble or repair electronic or mechanical components, following applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring products meet aerospace and internal quality standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals, paints, adhesives, and other materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials and chemicals.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, painting, soldering, or a closely related field.
  • Hands-on experience using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
  • Ability to perform detailed masking and coating or painting work with high accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, electronics, or military manufacturing environments is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
