Everett Engineering is a leading manufacturing company specializing in custom metal fabrication and welding. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

As a Welder/Fabricator at Everett Engineering, your primary responsibility will be to fabricate, assemble, and weld various metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and weld metal components and structures following engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, safely and efficiently.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal parts.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Test and evaluate welded components to ensure they meet specified tolerances and requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices in the use of welding equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with engineers, production supervisors, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified welder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes.
  • Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
