Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a CNC Machinist / CNC Mill Operator for a local manufacturing company in Everett, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist looking to join a stable, growing company where quality, precision, and teamwork are valued.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable CNC Machinist / CNC Mill Operator to join a busy production team. In this role, you will operate CNC milling equipment, perform tool changes and basic setup adjustments, inspect parts for quality, interpret blueprints, and help maintain tight tolerances in a precision machining environment.

Experience operating Haas CNC equipment is highly valued.

This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to continue developing their CNC machining skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor CNC milling machines and related equipment
  • Load and unload materials and work pieces safely and efficiently
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine setup adjustments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

    Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify and report machining, quality, or equipment concerns
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records
  • Assist with tooling and equipment-related projects as needed
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Skills & Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience operating CNC milling machines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Working knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and quality inspection procedures
  • Ability to work independently and remain productive throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred
  • Experience operating Haas CNC equipment
  • Ability to perform basic machine setups and adjustments
  • Familiarity with CNC controls, tool offsets, and minor program edits
  • Technical or vocational training in machining or a related field

  • Ability to maintain quality standards and tight tolerances

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements
  • Ability to work around machinery, cutting tools, coolant, and metal materials
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
