The Target Pay Range for this position is $‑$ annually. The full Pay Range is $82,900.00‑$ annually. Compensation decisions are based on relevant job‑related skills, experience, education, and training. Performance‑based incentives are available for the hired applicant.

As a Sr Marketing Technologist – Automation, you’ll play a key role in delivering highly personalized, data‑driven experiences that bring BECU’s member journeys to life. You’ll partner with digital marketing and data engineering teams to turn ideas into scalable, automated campaigns that engage members at the right moment and ensure every communication is timely, relevant, and impactful. Your work will directly influence how members experience BECU across channels.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Support and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns across email, digital, print, and social, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business goals.
- Design and manage automated marketing journeys, including decision splits, workflows, and triggered communications that create seamless member experiences.
- Work within platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other automation tools to build, deploy, and optimize campaigns and templates.
- Lead QA efforts on campaigns and journeys, ensuring every communication is error‑free, functional, and ready for delivery.
- Build and refine marketing processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across campaigns.
- Help develop marketing plans, draft project briefs, manage timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders to keep initiatives on track.
- Analyze campaign performance using established metrics, providing insights that improve future automation and targeting strategies.
- Partner with marketing teams, data engineers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into automated solutions.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and successful campaign execution.
- Assist with tracking budgets, managing project logistics, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Ownership of campaign execution and automation workflows that directly shape the member experience.
- Deepening of expertise in enterprise marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and advanced journey orchestration.
- Collaboration with digital marketing, marketing data engineering, and cross‑functional teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in marketing technology initiatives with a demonstrated focus on email and journey delivery; proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Stensul, Hub Spot, or equivalent tools/software.

Strong ability to translate technical jargon into business needs; excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional planning, project management, and data analytics skills; strategic and creative thinking; willingness and ability to execute tactics; full‑time availability with additional hours as necessary.
Candidates must be residents of WA, OR, , AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA, or VA. Washington state residents within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila are requested to come to HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Other approved remote work locations are also available.
