Marketing Specialist

• Base Pay $28.00 - $36.00 / Hour

Develop and implement marketing and communication activities that strengthen the Sunrise Services brand, increase awareness of its programs, support employee recruitment, and contribute to service-line growth. This position creates digital and printed content, manages social media and marketing campaigns, supports community outreach and events, and measures the effectiveness of marketing activities. The position works closely with executive leadership, Human Resources, and program leaders to ensure that communications are accurate , consistent, professional, and aligned with Sunrise’s mission and values.

• Create advertising materials
• Work collaboratively with the outside marketing group s .
• Website content and updates
• Social media planning and management
• Digital advertising and email campaigns
• Brand standards and consistent messaging
• Recruitment marketing
• Community outreach and referral-source development
• Marketing analytics and performance reporting
• Vendor and advertising-budget coordination
• Managing o nline reputation and review management, if applicable
• Increasing the growth of market share and market studies are critical for our industry.
• Promoting events as well as advertising campaigns.
• Meeting with management to consistently understand communication needs.
• Reviewing marketing projects and gathering materials about competitive companies in their field.
• Presenting recommendations to marketing company .
• Developing and coordinating multimedia packages like brochures, letters, purchase displays, video and so on for specific assignments.
• Local driving between sites in Western WA.

• Excellent analytical and presentation skills including demonstration skills to handle many assignments simultaneously.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading
• Social media and content-management experience
• Basic graphic-design capability, such as Canva or Adobe products
• Familiarity with email marketing and analytics tools
• Ability to translate complex services into clear public-facing language
• Sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information
• Strong project-management and organizational skills
• Experience in healthcare, human services, or a regulated environment preferred
• Able to take calculated and bold initiatives to meet the expectations of clients effectively.
• Should have equally effective people skills to deal with clients.
• Self-confident and outgoing personality.
• Should be an expert in forwarding thinking, market research, and should possess problem-solving skills.
• Ability to listen to intended details attentively.

• $28 - $36/hour
• All wages depend on applicable experience, license, and education.

• Part-time, flexible.

Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or , communications, public relations, business, graphic design, or another directly related field . May substitute relevant work experience for edu cation on a year-for-year basis.

Experience : 3 years experience as Marketing Specialist required .

DSHS background clearance required .

• Valid WA state driver's license

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products , Adobe, AI agents, Canva

S trong knowledge of marketing best practices

Professional appearance and demeanor

• Paid vacation - Earned at .04 per hour worked for hourly employees, and 6.67 per month for salary (equates to about 2 weeks per year for full-time employees)
