26-27 Mason Conservation District Community Agricultural Coordinator

This is an Ameri Corps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Mason Conservation District is located in the southern Puget Sound area. Our community is comprised of a diverse set of ecosystems. We aim to ensure land is managed responsibly and remains a resource for future generations. The member will lead outreach, manage growing spaces, and build volunteer partnerships.

We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews in early June. Monthly stipend amount: $2,438.

• Coordinate gleaning efforts.
• Assist with food distribution.
• Maintain community gardens and a food forest.
• Lead outreach on food security.
• Create educational materials and support workshops.
• Collaborate with partners to increase access to fresh, local produce.
