The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a Registered Nurse responsible for managing clinical and operational activities during assigned shifts in an acute care hospital setting. They support unit directors in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services while providing leadership presence. The role emphasizes patient‑focused care, leadership experience, and fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
DescriptionThe ANM reports to the unit director/manager and utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM is responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and providing managerial presence for all shifts.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree and Graduate from School of nursing (BS, or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.

- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Shared Governance experience.

Base PayPay Range: $61.91 - $97.72. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Location and SchedulingFull‑time, day shift. On‑site at Everett Medical Center Colby‑Everett, WA Everett 1321 Colby Ave.
