RN - ER

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM). Every other weekend required.

As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in providing care for patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The emergency department is very busy, treating patients with a range of conditions from low to high acuity, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, behavioral health needs, and critically ill patients.

• Assess and manage patients in high acuity settings.
• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.
• Maintain high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Comply with infection control protocols and hospital policies.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current RN license (WA RN or Compact RN).
• Certifications:
  
  BCLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Ability to manage high acuity patients effectively.
