Job Overview
The float pool department plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency of patient care across the hospital by providing a versatile and adaptable workforce. Float pool nurses are not simply valued – they’re invaluable, providing crucial support to all acute care units experiencing temporary staffing shortages including boarders in the emergency department, step down units, med/surg telemetry units, lock down psych, long‑term care and many more.

Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year nursing experience
- Upon hire:
National Certification in area of specialty, unless otherwise indicated.

The minimum and maximum wage rates for this position are $47.73 - $89.59. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
