Overview
The float pool department plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency of patient care across the hospital by providing a versatile and adaptable workforce. Float pool nurses are not simply valued – they’re invaluable, providing crucial support to all acute care units experiencing temporary staffing shortages including boarders in the emergency department, step down units, med/surg telemetry units, lock down psych, long‑term care and many more.

Provide critical support across acute care units during temporary staffing shortages, ensuring continuity and quality of patient care in diverse settings such as emergency department, step down units, med/surg telemetry units, lock down psych, long‑term care and more. Respond to changing environments and shift requirements, maintaining flexibility as a key aspect of the float pool role.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- 1 year nursing experience
Base pay range is provided; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
