- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association upon hire. - 1 year Nursing experience.
- National Certification in area of specialty is preferred, unless otherwise indicated upon hire.
A surgical trauma nurse provides immediate, critical care to patients with life-threatening injuries and illnesses in high-pressure environments like emergency rooms or trauma centers. Key responsibilities include patient triage and stabilization, administering emergency life support and medications, monitoring vital signs, performing wound care, assisting in surgical procedures, coordinating with the medical team, and communicating with patients and their families. This role requires strong critical thinking, quick decision-making, physical stamina, and the ability to handle intense situations.
Base Pay Range: $45.67 - $85.73 - 100% based on experience
