Travel ER Nurses

Travel ER RN – 13‑Week Assignment in Republic, Washington

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Republic, Washington.

Requirements:

• One year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department
• Observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice
• Respond to life‑saving situations based on emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs, considering the acute nature of emergency care
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Physical:
  Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Technical/Motor:
  Ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Mental:
  Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; ability to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
• Sensory:
  Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
