Labor & Delivery RN – Nursing

Requirements:

• License:
  Compact RN license
• Certifications:
  
  BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate OR Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience (1 year acceptable for submission)
• EMR:
  Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-risk perinatal patients during labor and delivery.
• Conduct assessments and monitor fetal status and maternal well-being throughout the labor process.
• Assist with cesarean sections and provide postoperative care for patients.
• Administer medications and manage complications such as hemorrhage and pre-eclampsia.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 40 hours
• Refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• Confirmation of compact RN license required at submission.
• Two references covering one year within the last three years required for submission.
