Must-Have:
Must have experience in high-risk perinatal care. Candidates must have administration skills. Experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries is preferred, but candidates with 100-200 deliveries may be considered. Must be willing to float to Postpartum. Weekends are required.
Description:
This position involves providing care in a labor and delivery setting. Candidates will work in an environment focused on comprehensive maternity services. The facility offers Level II NICU capabilities. The staffing goal is 1:1 in labor and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with support. The unit includes labor and delivery beds, antepartum beds, and postpartum beds. Additional support includes surgical technicians and certified nursing assistants.
Triage is staffed with skilled registered nurses. Providers will assist in various procedures and care practices relevant to labor and delivery. Completion of required certifications is mandatory for the role. Candidates must be adaptable, as flexibility in scheduling is expected. This position is suited for individuals with strong clinical skills in maternal and neonatal care. References will be required prior to hiring.
