Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 4 x 12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position requires experience in high-risk perinatal care and the ability to provide comprehensive maternity services. The chosen candidate will work at a facility with 19 labor and delivery beds and will be responsible for both labor and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and manage the needs of high-risk patients.
• Assist with postpartum care and education for new parents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures.
• Participate in triage for labor and delivery cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Current RN license (compact license preferred).
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in facilities that handle 200+ deliveries.
