Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Pacific Campus

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk perinatal care. The position is located at the Pacific Campus, offering comprehensive maternity services, including a Level II NICU. The RN will work in a busy labor and delivery unit, managing patient care for expectant mothers and their newborns, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to laboring patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Participate in the management of high-risk deliveries with support from surgical and nursing staff.
• Assist in triage and postpartum care with established staffing ratios.
• Perform assessments, monitor fetal well-being, and document patient information accurately using EPIC charting.
• Support breastfeeding and other maternal education as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in a team-oriented environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
• Valid RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
• Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries preferred.
