American Traveler is seeking an experienced Case Management RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring WA RN licensure and at least 1 year of care coordination experience.

• Acute hospital setting within the Case Management department
• Level II Trauma Center campus with 571 total staffed beds across sister campuses
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:25-30
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Requires working every other weekend
• Float required between Colby and Pacific campuses, less than 2 miles apart
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active WA RN license or compact license required, must be in hand at submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
• Diverse case management experience preferred, including Med Surg, LLOS, and ED
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, may include Charge RNs or Leads

• Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care development within a case management/utilization review framework
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; post-submission requests may not be granted
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for standard travel rate eligibility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs of any color are permitted except reddish-orange
• Parking is provided at no cost by the facility
