Veterinary Assistant

Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role supports Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in outpatient procedures such as physical exams, vaccines, and blood draws. Responsibilities include gentle animal handling and restraint, preparing and cleaning patient areas, and ensuring preparedness and efficiency throughout the day.

Schedule:

Part‑time, 3‑10 hour schedule with availability on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. No weekends.

  • Hourly compensation: $17.13–$18.00 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus: $500 for 3+ years of consecutive, current experience

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
  • 1+ year of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in patient restraint, client communication, oral medication administration, and medical note taking
About the Practice

Our three‑doctor, full‑service, mixed animal, general practice has served the community since 1982. We emphasize annual exams and provide a wide range of services to keep patients healthy. The clinic operates Monday‑Friday, allowing staff to enjoy weekends.
