Position Summary
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.

- Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time and constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site.
- Constantly position yourself to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbed.
- Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations. Constantly work in an outside environment while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.

- Quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
- Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $23.94 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, a car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
