Dog Daycare Handler Assistant
Four-Legged Fun Zone is looking for dog daycare handler assistants who have already built a solid foundation with off-leash dogs and are ready to continue growing their skills. If you understand canine body language, group dynamics, and safe playgroup management, we'll teach you how to confidently supervise and lead your own off-leash playgroup of 10–15 dogs.
Why You'll Love Working at Four-Legged Fun Zone
- Active Group Leadership:
You'll work with groups of 10–15 dogs—not 30+—giving you the opportunity to actively lead, teach, and manage behavior instead of simply keeping up with the chaos. - Predictable Schedule & Reliable Paycheck:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Consistent hours. No evenings, weekends, on-call shifts, or last-minute schedule changes. - Work Stays at Work:
When you're off, you're off. No surprise calls asking you to come in and no work texts after hours. - Structured Playgroups:
Dogs attend on consistent schedules and complete a structured introduction process before joining regular playgroups, creating safer, more stable groups for both dogs and staff. - A Place to Recharge:
Enjoy a dedicated break area where you can step away from the noise and reset during your lunch.
Compensation
Base Pay: $20.00/hour
Daily Group Bonus
- $2.50 per dog (12–13 dogs)
