Under general supervision and reporting to the Quality Management in Quality Operations, the Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual inspection operations including in‑process, final inspection, and FAI’s as appropriate. The role involves using hand tools, magnification, and verifying test data and related documentation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
  • Performing FAI’s – AS9102
  • Using hand measurement tools
  • Knowledge of CMM inspection process
  • GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint interpretation
  • Final inspection and receiving inspection of dimensional, visual, surface finish, and assembly parts
  • Reading, interpreting, and utilizing quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and documentation
  • Processing warehouse materials
  • Following instructions and pre‑established guidelines/procedures
  • Supporting corrective actions and root‑cause identification
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
  • Experience performing FAI’s – AS9102
  • Experience with hand measurement tools
  • Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Knowledge of blueprint interpretation
  • MS Outlook and Excel experience
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
Additional Desired Skills
  • Practical experience with quality inspection tools and equipment
  • Experience in root‑cause corrective analysis (RCCA) and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience as a quality inspector or technician
  • 3+ years experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility
  • Experience in FAI’s, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Detail oriented
Working Conditions

Typical office conditions with occasional travel. Light lifting, prolonged sitting, and visual requirements as described.

Pay Range

$25.00–$40.00 per hour. Salary information is a general guideline only.
